Parents, please complete the Georgia Parent Survey for the 2014-2015 school year. The data will be used to calculate our School Climate Star Rating and will factor in our CCRPI. To access the survey visit the site directly at or copy and paste to your favorite internet browser.
The purpose of the Buford Academy Science Fair is to enrich a child’s natural curiosity and foster a love of science while continuing to enrich the science curriculum. Participation in our annual science fair is optional; but open to all students at Buford Academy. Students may choose to work on a project individually or with one partner from the same grade level. Only two participants per project will be permitted for entry. To enter, just ask your science teacher for an entry-participation form. Take the form home and have your parents complete all of the necessary information with you. Once you and your parents have read and signed the participant permission and contract form, return the form to your science teacher.
Science Fair Ideas may be found on many websites. Here are a few recommendations.

Children who are able to identify with and comfort others make friends more easily, generally perform better academically, and demonstrate a higher level of moral and emotional development."
There will be no classes from December 20th- January 5th due to Winter Break. Students will return to school for regular classes on Tuesday, January 6, 2015
