CAMPUS VISITOR PROCEDURE
At Buford Academy we care about the safety of our students. Because we want to ensure that our students are protected, there is a new visitor safety procedure in place. Effective January 6, 2014 all visitors will be required to scan their State issued picture ID upon entering the building. This is required for ALL VISITORS, so please have your identification ready EACH time you visit.
Fall Festival Returns to B.A.
Once again Buford Academy will be hosting the Buford Fall Festival on October 9, 2014 from 4:40-8:00 pm. All booths and activities will be located throughout the BA parking lot. We will have games, activities and prizes including: Sand and Spin Art, Corn Hole, Football toss, Basketball, Pong Toss, Wheel of Fortune, Ball Toss, Chicken Launch, not to mention the Giant inflatables, and the delicious food and drinks. The main events will feature the BHS Jazz band performances, the ever-popular cake walk, and the highlight of the night will be the BULL RIDING! Oh yes, this is an event you don't want to miss. So get ready to celebrate "Buford Style" on:

Upcoming School Holidays
Just a reminder that there will be no school for students on:
Friday, October 10th or Monday, October 13th.
This will be a Fall Holiday for all students. Classes will resume on Tuesday, October 14th.
Early Release and Conference Days
October 16th & October 17th
will be early release days for students. This will be the day for parent/teacher conferences. Students will be dismissed beginning at 11:30 am on both days. Conferences are a very important part of communication with your child's teachers. Please, plan to attend. We look forward to sharing all of the wonderful things that your child is learning at B.A.

"Respect is how you feel about someone.
Having respect for someone means you think good things about who a person is or how he/she acts. You can have respect for others, and you can have respect for yourself.
Respect is how you treat someone.
Showing respect to someone means you act in a way that shows you care about their feelings and well-being.
Showing respect for others include things like not calling people mean names, treating people with courtesy, caring enough about yourself that you don't do things you know can hurt you.
So what is respect?
