CHILD PROTECTION POLICY FOR SUPERVISION:
According to the Department of Family and Children Services, children must be the correct age and at the appropriate maturity level to be left alone or allowed to care for other children.
Age 8 or under: Should never be left home alone.
Age 9-12: Can stay alone up to 2 hours, based on maturity, but should not be performing the role of a babysitter.
