Assessments
MAP (Measures of Academic Progress) assessments are used to measure a student's growth in Mathematics and Reading. The Fall assessment gathers baseline. The Winter assessment measures progress. The Spring assessment measures the students' growth to that point.

The Cognitive Abilities Test (CogAT) is a multiple-choice test designed to measure a child's academic aptitude and gifted abilities.
All 2nd graders will be given the CogAT in the fall.
